So apparently the California Bighorn sheep habitat extends from British Columbia down to California and over to North Dakota (per Wikipedia). This wildlife photographer has a great collection of photos of California Bighorn near Kamloops Lake in British Columbia:

Cool link Daren,
I believe the Bighorn Sheep in Anza Borrego are a sub-species called the Peninsular Bighorn.
Any one can chime in if I am wrong :-)
I believe their population is pretty small.

Those are some nice pics. They look more like the sheep we would see up in Taylor Canyon when we lived in Gunnison, CO.
