Sounds like a great trip.
That is one of my favorite areas. I wonder if it will be busy with all the wildflower hunters

I will be heading down to the south end of the park again and hiking into the Indian Hill area and checking out the tank, the cave, and the rest of the area. It has been a few years since I have hiked into this area and I am very excited about the weather and returning to this part of the desert. Maybe we will even find a field of wildflowers but I will definitely listen to Tom Petty's old (1994) album "Wildflowers" while I am on this trip. I will be sure to post some pics and a report.
